The Peacemaker Submarine
Designed by Professor Josiah Hamilton Langdon Tuck.
In the line of development of a "true" fighting
submarine but not complete as it did not have diving planes (See The Submarine cited below).
Also "the Capitan" commanded the boat while in a diving
suit (no conning tower). Tested in New York Harbor during the summers of 1885 and 1886.
Made its first dive on November 23, 1886.
